I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Mermaid Seashell Necklace

Today I did a small change up on my coastal style  Mermaid Seashell Necklace. It has such a feminine feel to it, and has received 2 hearts, but I think it needed to be shortened. When I made this one, long necklaces were so the rage. Not so much anymore. I removed the chain, and changed the lobster clasp to a pretty textured toggle. I love how it hangs now! I think that I will make my jewelry the way I like it,  and not let some new fashion fad change my normal designs. I have several necklaces that I want to shorten now.

This pretty scallop shell is accompanied by Aventurine gemstone beads, jade green glass beads, and pink pressed glass roundels. I am very pleased with this one! You can get a more thorough description of this in my Etsy shop.

My photography skills are improving! It will be nice to have everything re-shot, and the shop looking more put together, and appealing to the eye.

Here's a sneak peak at what I'm working on now. These freshwater pearls are deliciously perfect, and the color is vivacious violet!
The shell looks so pretty and delicate next to the pearls! This will make it's debut soon, so stay tuned.

OOohhhh...I love these! The pearls and shell look beautiful together! That's my favorite shell and I know it's common but I'm always thrilled when I find them! Enjoy your day! Soak up that sunshine! ♥
