I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Beaded Pillows and Pendants

Last week when my friend Karen from The Beaded Pillow blogged about her new listings, I had to go take a peek.

She is making these cool little beaded pillow necklaces...SO cute!

I hit "add to cart" before I finished commenting on her post lol!

Seashell addict? I think so! But I couldn't resist!

It's a shell pendant, and a mini beaded pillow, and I am a huge fan of her artwork.
Isn't it amazing?!
It's so pretty, and the detail is exquisite!
I totally love it, and put it on as soon as I opened it! The beads and little glass pearls are so dainty and darling.

I have a new blouse this will be perfect with....I know...pictures would be nice.

She still has a couple more mini beaded pillow pendants in her Etsy shop!
Maybe there is one just for you, too!

My Very Beady Friend

Not only did I have the great fortune of meeting my friend Diane on Friday, I also met another blogger friend Sunday for brunch!

Karen from The Beaded Pillow, blog and Etsy shop!

She was passing through town on her way back home after a few days in Boca Grande, and we met at Cracker Barrel. We chit chatted like old friends! It was serious non stop talking! We really had a ball!

Man, I have had one very exciting and FUN weekend!

Karen made this cute little change purse, wallet, business card holder for me! (I'm using it for business cards-her idea!)

I love this fabric, and had commented on it on her blog. She had some scraps leftover, and used them for me! I think I'll need business cards for her in here, too. What if someone asks where I got it? And of course I'll be pulling it out of my wristlet that Diane made for me, so should have some of her business cards in it, too!

If you haven't met Karen on the internet, you should hop over to her blog, and her shop and check out her pillows and stuff! She makes coasters, door hangers, and other very beady and cool creations. Her pillows are stunningly beautiful! She does amazing work, and she is another beautiful and fun friend I can really call my friend now! I'm sure we will get together the next time she is down this way!

I'm looking forward to meeting more of my awesome blog buddies! We already KNOW each other, and getting together gives us a chance to hug for real!

On another note, but still blog related~ I'd like to welcome new followers to my blog! Thanks for joining in and hanging out here with me :D
I'm only 3 away from the magic number of 100, and I see a giveaway in the hopefully very near future!!!

Since I played all weekend...it's time to get back to work and finish up those projects so I can have something new to post about!

What did you do over the weekend?

Beaded Pillows

TGIM! Yes, Thank God it's MONDAY, because I have been wanting to do this post for days!

I'd like you to meet Karen, from The Beaded Pillow...Etsy shop, and blog! I've been following Karen's blog ever since I found her on one of my Etsy Teams (probably the Etsy blog team)

Karen does fabulous work doing beaded pillows! A couple of weeks ago she had a contest to name her newest pillow, and a name came to me....and she chose the name I came up with for her pillow!!!

This is Paradise Wild!
This gorgeous, and colorful hand beaded pillow is in Karen's Etsy shop, The Beaded Pillow! and I chose the name!

There is so much detail in her pillows, and so very many hours go into each one! Her handiwork is amazing, and I'm just in awe over her ability!

For naming this beauty, I received a set of beaded snowman coasters from her, and they are darling!

I almost don't want to use them...but maybe to set a cup of coffee or cocoa on...for a few minutes...and only for the holiday season, and then these lovelies will be wrapped in tissue paper and lovingly stored with the rest of the Christmas decorations.

Karen sold my favorite pillow a while ago, but I have to show it to you anyway.
I love this Orange Octopus pillow! I love the colors, and the print....and her work! You can check out Karen's beaded creations in her Etsy shop...The Beaded Pillow!

Thank you for the coasters Karen! I will cherish them forever, and I will always remember Paradise Wild!

My daughter Laci made something for me, and I will be sharing them this week, too!

See you soon!

Have a beachy day! (it's going to be 82 degrees here today!)
