I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

A New Mermaid

You all know I have a few mermaids here and there, in and around my home. So, it should be no surprise that I chose a mermaid business card holder to take with me to shows. I have 2 mermaid business card holders saved in my Favorites on Etsy. It was really hard to decide between them. Really hard! Both of them come from By The Seashore Decor on Etsy. Carol and Andrew have an entire shop filled with things I'd love to have!

The packaging has a wonderfully beachy and tropical feel to it. Love the flamingos!

I had her painted coral! It will really POP against the aqua table cloths in my booth.

I'll be adding a few more coral POPS of color, too! If I had just ordered her a few days earlier, I could have had her for my 1st show. But that's okay, there will be more shows!

I think she will be a great addition to my tabletop! Carol and Andrew did a wonderful job painting her, too.

Do these colors look familiar to any of you? It has been nearly a year ago that I started painting and decorating the interior of my home in these colors. I still love them!

Can you spot the mermaids in these posts, here, here, and here?

I'm a Mermaid

Hello! I just wanted to pop in and welcome some new blog followers! I've been wanting to say hi to you all, so I thought I would do it first thing. Hi! Hello! and Welcome!

My hubby and I are getting ready to celebrate our 30th anniversary in a couple of weeks. Yeah, wow! I can't believe it has been 3 decades already! We always celebrate special occasions at the beach, and go as often as time allows in between.

Guess what the 30th anniversary gift is???? Pearls!!!! I know! Isn't that so cool! He said he'd gladly by me a strand of pearls....for jewelry making! He already bought pearls for my neck, wrist, and ears. He used to buy me pretty, pretty jewelry to go with special occasions. NOT ANY MORE! He said the stuff I make is prettier than anything he could ever buy for me. Isn't he so sweet?!

I took the Mermaid Name Generator test over at Rum and Monkey, to see what my mermaid name is. I did it twice, for Tropical, and Mediterranean mermaid. Both times I got the name Pearlia. So, Pearlia it is! I love it, and it is so me! I found the name generator from Gypsea Nurse.

Look at these art prints of mermaids wearing pearls I found on Etsy!

Each one is linked directly to the Etsy shop it is from.

Which is your favorite? What is your mermaid name?

I'm off to play with some pearls!

Love,
Pearlia aka Del
