I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Seashell Saturday

Hello! Welcome to Seashell Saturday, and welcome aboard new followers! It's so nice to see some new faces, and I hope you enjoy visiting here :D

A couple of weeks ago, Debbie from Love of the Sea had a giveaway, and I left a comment...not even thinking I would actually win. I don't win contests and giveaways. Ever. I usually don't even bother to enter anymore, but I like Debbie, and I wanted to show my support.

Well, surprise! I won! You could have knocked me over with an ocean breeze!

A big THANK YOU, and a big HUG to Debbie for having this awesome giveaway!!!

Now I get to play with some more shells, and this bright red faux coral!

I'm still trying to decide where to put it, and how the new arrangement will go!

I put the shells in my big clam shell...

and I may add a few shells to it.

I'm trying to decide between this....

                                               or like this?

I really love this pop of red! It sets off the other red in the room, like the wooden box on the wall, and my lighthouse collection!

I also had an idea while playing around with the new tablescape...

shells on the "shelf" that this box provides! I don't know why I didn't think of it years ago! There will be more playing around with this, too :)

I thought about putting the shells and "coral" here...

 what do you think?
On the dolphin table?
or the boat table?
I'm sure it will get changed back and forth throughout the seasons!

Thank you Debbie, for the new addition to my decor!

Love,
Del

Congrats, first of all. I think it looks beautiful in both areas, but I'm partial to it against your bamboo blinds...the constrast is stunning. Either way, you cannot go wrong, because you have great taste!!!

Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Congratulations on your win! I like the red coral on both tables, esp the way it brings out the red in the wall image (and I like it centered under it) ....but...seems that particular table might like something just as striking, but taller, that reaches up toward the shells on the "shelf"...so maybe the red coral goes better on the other table, like Joni said.

Congratulations!! I think the coral looks great together with the fish!! You have a lighthouse collection? I don't remember seeing that on your blog? Would love to!!

Oh, it's gorgeous! I like it best in the last photo with the window behind it! Can I make a suggestion? Find a couple of books...leather covers would be nice...stack them unevenly and put the coral on top! It would add a little height and a 'stand' for them! But no matter where you enjoy it...it will be beautiful! ♥

I think I like the second arrangement better, not sure why but it is very eye-pleasing either way. Glad to hear you won a giveaway!

I like the red coral next to the fish - nice pop of color. Debbie always has the best give-aways.
