Today I am at Daytona Beach!
Daytona Beach, FL |
Just a little over nighter to get away and smell the salty air, and maybe play in the waves a little.
I'm hoping to remember to take some great new pics :D
My beach essentials are my canopy chair, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and my long sleeved white shirt. And plenty of liquids to keep us hydrated!
What do you take to the beach?
I hope you have a wonderful Seashore Sunday, too!
Love,
Del

We haven't been to the beach in years! We are hoping to go in October, but your picture brought back many memories!
I hope you enjoyed your quick weekend getaway. I absolutely need a huge beach umbrella with me... other than that I am content to just sit there and people/wave watch :)

Awesome. Have a great day. I spent my teenage years in the late 70's early 80"s in Daytona Beach. I loved it there. Your photo reminds me I should go back for a visit one of these days.
Would you add ME to your list of essentials? I carry some of the same things you carry...plus snacks! heehee! I don't ever want to leave to go eat! Looks like the perfect weekend...wish I was there! ♥
We will....just rode the AutoTrain yesterday down to Sanford, then across to Sanibel!! A week of salt air and beautiful shells (I hope!)

I'm pretty sure I've been to Daytona Beach at some point in my younger life! Beautiful photo!
I love the idea of taking a quick little overnight trip like that! Maybe I can convince my honey to do that at some point.
Sounds like a wonderful way to relax and get away from it all. Enjoy. :)
I love daytona beach! Haven't been there in years tho. Lucky you to be so close. Lets see- my beach essentials are my daughter, my bikini, suntan lotion, drinking water and my shell bag. HEAVEN!! Have fun!
Hi, Del! I am a new follower from Blogging Grannies. I love shells and anything to do with the ocean. Beautiful! Most shells are colored by pigments incorporated into the periostracum of the shell, and they are formed in an orderly pattern. However, some shells may be spotted with irregular patterns due to natural conditions, like a storm or a hurricane. For more information on marco island guide click here.
