Florida Seashell Charm Bracelets

Hello, and Happy Friday!

Today I have some new charm bracelets. Two of them are Florida seashell charm bracelets, and there will be more of these coming. I'll have some in sterling silver, too! These are on aluminum flat cable chain.

This is such a cute bracelet with Florida seashells, and beachy charms. A nice juvenile Florida conch, kittens paw, calico scallop, and a little dosinia are interspersed with a bottle of suntan lotion, a bikini top, and a pair of sunglasses, with tiny Swarovski crystals embedded in them. A pretty dolphin charm, and a sweet half orange complete this Florida Seashell Charm Bracelet!

Then this Florida Seashell Charm Bracelet is for you! A juvenile conch, calico scallop, broad ribbed cardita, and a white kittens paw...I think it's a kittens paw.

Recently I learned that some of my kittens paws are actually baby lions paws. With the hundreds of thousands of seashell species... I have a LOT to learn still!

A sea turtle, sand dollar, starfish, dolphin, and an orange.... make this Florida Seashell Bracelet a special souvenir piece for those who love the ocean....like we do!

This next bracelet is a pretty bronze!

The center shell is a Babylonia. The other two I don't know. I have a LOT to learn!

A bronze nautilus shell, and a bronze scallop shell give this seashell charm bracelet a vintage look.

The bronze filigree is so feminine and delicate looking. Love this! This ring wraps around the finger with tapered ends, making it adjustable, and still pretty. This is one of my favorite style ring bases...it's similar to the stem and leaf style.

Loads of Buttercups

I finally got around to sorting those shells, and what a massive pile it was.

I figured I had at least 100 Buttercups. I was waaaaaaaaaaay off!

How about over 100 off....

Like, um.....287 Buttercups. I counted twice! That doesn't include the really bad broken ones that I tossed in a flower pot, either.

I also have a bunch of  different types of Tellins, including Atlantic Tellins. They are a really cool shell. Really thin, and it looks bent. I didn't get any pics of them....so you will see them in something I've made one of these days. One of the Atlantic Tellins is a bit thicker than normal, or normal from what I've seen, and will make a nice necklace.

You may remember seeing the exoskeleton of a horseshoe crab a couple of posts ago. Hubby found the lil guy on Caladesi, and the birds had picked him clean. A bunch of sand and junk had washed up into his cavity, and started coming out while I was washing him.

 .....along with this little cutie!

I've been watching too much American Pickers....I started calling my mini shells my "smalls". Hahaa!

 The really tiny shells totally fascinate me!

Coastal towns use shells and shell crush in place of mulch. I caught this olive out of the corner of my eye walking through the parking lot after dinner one night.

It's a little beat up, but still has some shine to it.

I have been working on some of those projects I have been wanting to finish. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to be checking them off my list.

I had a custom order recently to create a necklace. It was fun, and I love doing custom orders!

I also had my first International order!!!! I've sent to Canada before, but that's still in North America. I've sent to Hawaii a few times also, but that is part of the United States regardless of the fact that it's across the Pacific. This time I sent something to SPAIN!!!! Del's Shells goes global! WooHoo!

Now, back to those projects!

Seashell Saturday

Good day ladies! Happy Saturday!

I am so glad the weekend is here. I don't have any plans, I just enjoy knowing it's the weekend!

I saw your comment on my last post, Shellbelle, before blogger lost it. That was certainly bloggers day of doom wasn't it?! The day everyone's post went missing may not go down in history, but I am sure WE won't be forgetting it for some time to come!

Anyway, let's get on with the theme for the day!

Since I've been working on my photos in the shop all week, I thought I would show some things I've made and haven't had listed for one reason, or another, and something I made for my bedroom.

I love this Scotch Bonnet! These are such neat shells!

 

I'm not totally 100% satisfied with the chain. When I find one I love, I'll list this!

This Buttercup is a sweet shell, especially with the mother of pearl seahorse dangling in it!

Swarovski crystal flat backs in Caribbean Blue Opal accent the shell. I'm not thrilled with this chain either. I told you I'm getting picky!
 
My daughter, Kandi, sent this potpourri shell mix. I added some of my own shells, put them in this cool jar, and added a shell lei from my sisters wedding to the top.

This is in my bedroom on my dresser. This was a super simple project, and I love how it turned out!

I could sit and play with shells all day! Right now I'm between projects. I simply don't know which shell I want to play with next. I'm sure something will come to me before the day is out... I'm hoping it is in the form of jewelry!
