I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Seashore Sunday

Let's take a trip!

Back through time...
when this part of our country looked different than this.

When the seashore touched where the mountains are, and the area was covered in seas.

The Western Interior Seaway covered a huge area of our continent.

Shell, palm tree, and crocodile fossils have been found all over the west.

It's hard to imagine this dry rocky area as being tropical at one time.
Is your home where the sea or shore used to be?

Enjoy your Sunday!

Love,
Del

What beautiful pictures. Can you just imagine what things are going to look like here in a couple thousand years? It's a cool but creepy thing to think about.
