I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Shell Shoppin'

Remember I told ya that Momma P and me went to the shell shop for my birthday?

I found some really cool shells!

These snail shells really are that bright of a yellow. I thought of Laci when I saw these. One of her favorite colors is yellow :)

This is a handful of the pectins I bought. I picked up two different sizes of these. I thought these would make some fun little necklaces.

My jingle shell project has turned into a capiz shell project. The jingles just aren't strong enough to do what I want them to do!

I bought a few BIG heart cockles!

And a few little heart cockles!

I heart these shells! LOL!

These sun and moon shells are a beautiful purpley pink.

They also had yellow, and I had to have a few. Just a few, like four of them cause they were pricey!

More cute necklaces!

These are neat shells, and I can't remember what they are. I'll look it up after I make something with them.

These are really pretty!

These are so very purple!

And I found already made shell flowers.....and this is what got me into making some myself.

So, this last time we were at the beach, I found another shell shop....and bought some tiny shells for shell crafting too. Specifically for making flowers! I would love to use a combination of found and bought shells for my flowers. We will see how that works out!

I picked out a couple of shells for my gift from Momma P, too!

This is a melon shell....it's pretty big, and it's cool! It's going on top of my kitchen cabinets.

This murex is big and gorgeous! It goes in the living room.

How I manage to cram more seashells into my decor is beyond me, but I do manage, too!

When you walk into my craft room now, it's like walking right into a shell shop. I have a 5 tier shelf now to hold all of my shells.....it was re-purposed from another area of the craft room. I'm really enjoying my crafty space, and with just a little more organization, I will enjoy it even more.

All of my pics are cropped and ready for listing, so it's time to make more stuff! It's a good thing I get to sit on my butt and craft cause I'm so sore from bending over picking up shells on the beach I can barely walk LOL!!!!

I'll see you soon with what has already been made and photo'd.

You found all of those awesome shells the other day and you still buy shells?? Wow! I can't wait to go to the beach and look for shells some day. I'll be emailing you for tips when I do! I love those sun and moon shells...the yellow ones the best. Are they naturally that yellow? How do shells get their color? Maybe I need a "Seashell 101" post!!!

Maybe you can enter some shell jewelry in one of the shell show competions next season just for funsies. You made some good choices. I especially like the pectins.

Shell flowers...oh my! They are gorgeous! My mind is going crazy thinking of the possibilities! And I love all of your choices at the shell shop. I'll try to get my post ready this week, too. And it sure looks like you have some wonderful shells to work with from the shop and those you found. You probably have enough shells to last forever...just kidding. (that's our little joke!) Enjoy your day! I know your creative juices are flowing!
