I've been collecting seashells for as long as I can remember. From east to west, coast to coast, and shore to shore, I always find a treasure to keep, and adore.

Craft Fair Day

Did you think I forgot about you? I didn't! I've been a little (actually a LOT) under the weather. I've caught that nasty flu that's going around :(

It was dang cold Saturday morning as we headed to Harvest Village! We wore 2 jackets most of the day, with hats and gloves til it warmed up.

There were baby animals this time!

How cute is this lamb?! OMG so adorable!

She was such a little sweetie, too! (She was my favorite baby of the day!)

This was my next favorite....a cute lil goat kid.

He liked to cuddle with his mom :)

This baby goat was a favorite, too. It wanted out of the cage.

There were quite a few animals....this Billy goat...

chickens

doves

ducks

fluffy headed ducks????

more chickens

more fluffy headed ducks....are they molting or what? I don't remember my ducks doing this as a kid.

a piggy!

and more goats.

We had a pretty good vendor turnout....it gets better all the time :)

We had a pretty good day....well, fun wise, lol. Laci sold a couple of finger puppets, and a couple of cat toys.
I sold a hair barrette and a key chain....and Miss Anna sold a couple things. I didn't keep tabs on everyone.

About an hour after I got home Saturday, I was hit with the flu. Full on fever and chills, in the bed with my clothes and jacket on.
To make matters worse, I have coughed so hard, I have cracked my ribs. It is so painful, I can barely stand to move, or even breathe.....and coughing is excruciatingly painful.
I have no appetite whatsoever, and the last thing I ate was a bowl of soup Monday night. Just the thought of food makes me nauseous.

I better be on the mend soon! I'm planning a trip to the beach in a week, and I can't go shelling with cracked ribs....OR Can I?

The Friday Post

Happy Friday, and Yay the weekend is here!

But first....ummmm yesterdays post...let me clarify that I do NOT hate mustaches on MEN. My husband has one, as well as a beard ;) I like them just fine on him! My son has facial hair, too....and both my son-in-laws!

It's mustaches on everything not breathing that I find silly, lol. There are even mustache party supplies for heavens sake :P

Okay, this weekend is a FUN one!

Harvest Village tomorrow!

Kim gave me some cool acrylic sign frames a while back, and I have been trying to come up with what to put in them.

I know, bad pictures! Lighting really IS everything

These are just about 81/2 x 11 and I think you can read them at a glance from a short distance away. Except the last one. It's in a 4 x 6 frame. It's still quite noticeable. I'm hoping that by seeing in print what I actually HAVE maybe will make a big difference :) if anyone comes out in this frigid weather, lol.

On Sunday we will be going to the 1st Cannibals bout of the season!!!!!! Yay Roller Derby!

And you already know who my favorites are ;)

But really, all the ladies are GREAT and it takes a TEAM not just one or two people!

And next week I will get some work done! And I do have a Valentine craft.....

Have a great weekend, and stay warm!

Farmers Market and Craft Show

It was a beautiful weekend in north central Florida, and perfect for craft fairs and farmers markets! I didn't sell much, but I did sell a few small things. And of course I bought stuff and spent more than I made lol. But it was FOOD and a couple of Christmas gifts for friends, so that's ok :)

We set up in a different spot this time. Right in front next to the parking lot.

Laci made some new things!

This is her lil jelly fish family...aren't they so cute?! I want them!

And she brought one of her hemp produce bags. I already have one of these, and I love it!

This is Anna of Vagabond Crafts, the coordinator of our craft show. We love Anna:)

Anna makes crochet doggy sweaters, purses....

baby sweaters and booties, and little purses to carry your cell phone in. She does make blankets and other things (like dolls!) but didn't have them with her this time.

She did have some fresh picked grapefruit since it was the farmers market weekend....

some brownies and cupcakes......

and some delicious gingerbread! I know first hand cause I ate some :)

This is Barbara and George(?) I'm pretty sure he is George, but not 100% positive she is a Barbara, but I think so. They sell the produce, obviously :P which is why I bought food. I couldn't resist broccoli that had just been picked that morning!

I bought hubby some of those Satsumas in the basket. There were other tangerines, too, but he likes the Satsumas.

The basket of broccoli was chock full. I'm sure they sold every bit of it! I had to have some of these tomatoes. They are huge! Lace and I at half of one with our lunch.

Lotsa fresh greens and turnips, too.

The bell peppers were only 50 cents each! You can't even buy them at Walmart for that cheap.
I would say they are professional gardeners, and they wrote a book on gardening in north central Florida. I am buying that book from them! I couldn't quite swing it this time, but I will next time.

I love Craft Show days! We have so much fun out there even when we don't sell anything. We have another one to do next weekend!

So, you are probably wondering what I did about my picture uploading over storage capacity problem. A good friend emailed me and sent me to a blog post on this very thing. What ya do is size your pics 800x600 and it doesn't count as 'storage' because it's under the size limits :) Pretty cool, huh?!

So now I can upload pics til my heart and blog are content. I'll be back soon with some product photos or something!
