A Beaded Seashell Charm Bracelet

Playing around with that circle chain last week, and wanting to do a little beading at the same time, I came up with a beaded charm bracelet.

Only one real seashell on this one, and two bronze seashell charms. About half of the bracelet is beaded with glass pearls in green and blue, with flower bead caps used to surround the larger green pearls.

The older I get, the more I love old looking things, and this bracelet has that vintage antique look with the bronze chain, charms, and findings.

This little shell has the perfect colors to make it look as if it just belongs on this bracelet.

A very simple uncluttered charm bracelet. I'm really liking these lately.

This has a lobster clasp, but you know I am always willing to make adjustments and change to a toggle at your request :)

I have several listings to do this week, so should have this in my Etsy shop soon!

Right now I am working on a custom order...and gearing up for the craft show this weekend. Have I already mentioned that recently?

I've added a 3rd table, so I'm doing some booth rearrangement. I ordered a couple of more rafia skirts, and can't wait to see it come together...AGAIN! I'm trying to minimize the bulk of my displays so I have room for my passengers for the Orlando show. I have so much to do in the next couple of weeks!

I have a couple of Fall decorating projects lined up to do, too. Wish me luck! I don't know how I expect to cram all of this into this already full month! And my baby turns 25 next week! EEEEK!

I'll be ready for another beach trip in November!

Table Skirt Sneak Peek!

I was so excited by how this looks, that I had to snap some pics and share it with ya'll!

Excuse the tackle boxes on top of the table...the rafia skirt keeps pulling the "table cloth" down in front without something to hold it in place. That won't be a problem when I'm doing the shows. There will be lots of stuff on the table to keep it in place!

This is the laundry room side of my garage. Water heater, fishing poles, my big sink are all on this side, too.

This table cloth aka a sheet is actually a dark aqua, and matches my theme/logo very well. I'm hoping to shoot some pics of this outdoors soon :)

I must tell you what a time I have had with the velcro. I bought the sew on kind, and while sewing it on my sheet moved and they weren't quite even, even though I marked it with a seamstress pencil. So, I bought the stick on kind with intentions to sew it in place permanently once they are all in place. Two packages did one table....so, it's back to the store for more velcro!

I can't wait to do the mock up!!!!

Okay, now let's see some of those earrings and  things I mentioned before.

 These are sweet earrings :) Perfect for a beach wedding, and complete with something blue!

These are pierced look clip ons, and I have them in silver also. I need to use more of these! They don't pinch either :)

These are fun! I have more FUN earrings for the younger gals, too.

Mini Spiral Turritella Shells in gold....

 and silver ear wires.
I have colored wire in several colors, so will be doing more of these, and also some wire in silver.
I think 18 to 20 something year olds will like these.

I'm running low on charm bracelets.....

so I made a simple charm bracelet...I'll be making more (I hope!) next week.

Such cutie little shells!

Now, before I show you this barrette, I have to say that I cleaned off the glue smudges AFTER I took the pics. Remember I shoot in MACRO, with an OTT light, and the glue smudges really aren't noticeable in person!!!!! I took the pics and they really highlighted them. So I cleaned off the little bits on there.

The beads are agate, and I can't remember what the little black auger type shells are. I guess I better look them up ;) The cats eye shell in the center is an operculum from a sea snail. The operculum is the "trap door" to protect them from predators.

Out of all of the earrings today, my faves are the white shells with pearls and angelite.


Tomorrow, necklaces again! I have 2 new pearl/beaded ones, and might have some more beaded.

I do have a few new shells on chain that I did Wednesday. It is actually still Wednesday as I write this!

I drilled a bunch of shells so that I can just pick a shell, and pick what will go best with it, and make it!

ALL of these have holes in them! Some are found, and some are bought. I really have more fun and enjoy working with my found on the beach shells :D

Coral and Seashells

You know how much I like playing with those paper fig shells.....

This one is the perfect off white color to match the off white coral in this necklace.

The pink coral is so feminine and pretty, and gives it just a little POP of color.

It's just a small shell, and so cute....

and hangs just right!

But the bracelet.....

still needs some work.

The bead caps slip against this slick bumpy groovy shell.

I have to take it apart and rework it. I love the design of it, love the carved coral, love the pearls.
I dislike the way the bead caps slip! of course they didn't slip until I started taking pics....

You shouldn't be able to see the hole. So, it's back to the drawing board on this one. I do have an idea, though. I can fix it!

Hubby and I went fishing Sunday, and it was a beautiful day on the lake!

Oh Baby!

Last year when Lace and I went to Clearwater to do some shellin', I found some baby's ears. NO not REAL live baby babies ears! Seashell Baby's Ears!

These are such cute and delicate shells, and I positively adore them. I've had plans for a couple of them, and set them aside, along with some sterling silver chain and findings, some pearls, and crystals.

Being that they are such a delicate shell, they needed fine and delicate "surroundings".
I didn't even touch my dremel to these precious darlings. I used my mini manual hand drill!

My pics don't come close to showing this baby off.

This is the bracelet. It has little baby pearls to go with that darling baby's ear seashell.

Ah! My pics don't even come close to showing the beauty of this little bracelet.
I may have to try some natural daylight to get this to !POP!

I mentioned crystals, and as you can see, the bracelet doesn't have any on it.
BUT....

The ANKLET does! Little Swarovski crystal faceted rounds at the ends of the coin pearls. These coin pearls have "tails" and I can't remember what they call them.

Love this! I've wanted to put this together for a LONG time, but you know how many other things and goings on have been going on at my house.

This very well could be my favorite so far...this anklet, and the bracelet. But I say that with most everything I make huh?!

You should see how darling it looks around an ankle! Think how nice this would look on someone with a tan! I know! Awesome, huh? You were imagining it weren't you?!

I'm chomping at the bit for the sun to rise high enough to get new pics of these so I can get them listed. It's worth a try.

Swirly Shell Jewelry

Yesterday I mentioned that I had another bracelet that I made using those gold curved twist tube beads. (Say that fast 10 times!) I didn't use seaglass, and I didn't use local shells.

I used umbonium shells!

Such cute little shells....

How could I resist?

And with earring to match.

And tiny freshwater pearls.

It's lightweight, too. You'll barely know it's there. Delicate and dainty. The earrings are a nice length to sway back and forth.

While I was playing around, I made some more simple earrings.

I know, they look just like the cuff links I made! But trust me, they are surgical steel earrings.

Sundial shells are really cool, and shaped the same way as the umbonium shells.

I haven't found out what these shells are yet, but they are cool, too.

These are hard to take pics of. I deleted all of them but this one. I need to take some more.

They are easier to photograph on a barrette!

Another swirl type shell. It's really cool! This is a large size hair barrette....

and I made a couple of medium size barrettes with a couple of the shells Cheri aka ShellLady sent me. And a necklace, too! After I send some pics to her, I will share them with you. She really should be the first to see those, don't ya think?!

My fingers are crossed that I will be back tomorrow to show you what else I've been up to, and maybe it will be some Sanibel shell jewelry!

Or maybe what else I've done with pearl abalone shells????
